Starting August 1, players competing in youth, girls, high school or junior hockey within USA Hockey are required to wear neck laceration protectors (NLPs) for all games and practices. In addition, on-ice officials under the age of 18 as well as players in all six disciplines within USA Hockeys disabled hockey program are also required to wear NLPs. Play safer and stay comfortable in a base layer that works as hard as you do. Designed as an all-in-one base layer, the BAUER LS Cut-Resistant Neck Protect Base Layer features DuPont Kevlar fibers in the neck collar area and comfortable, moisture-wicking fabrics through the arms and torso to keep you feeling fresh all game long.
